A wise decision is often the will of God. Whether to work at Walmart or Target, I don’t have to toss the Urim and Thummim. If my life belongs to Jesus and I seek to honor and glorify Him in everything I do...that is God’s will for me. Sometimes our choices lead us through difficult times. God is there with us too and my motivation should be to serve God. He leads us even though we cannot see it. Success is not a gauge of godliness.
What great thoughts on this subject! There have been times in life when I’ve been presented with opportunities and a decision point. A paralysis of analysis often sets in. Truth be known, I don’t think there are necessarily “right” or “wrong” decisions. Both will teach us, if we’re paying attention. The word for me was just to step out of the boat, in faith, trusting I’ll be held. For God is far more interested in my growth and maturity into Wisdom than providing me a comfortable nest.

“Success is not a gauge of godliness.” So true!
I can't begin to tell you how timely this post was, and how much I needed this. Thank you, Andrew, so much!
Glad it helped! You're welcome.
